Living on Campus is...
- Convenient! When you live on campus you'll be close to classes, minutes away from dining options and within walking distance of local businesses and stores. All halls include fully furnished rooms, high-speed wireless internet, free unlimited laundry, trash and recycling features and common spaces for cooking, studying and socializing.
- Engaging! Whether you join in on a hall activity or take on a leadership role, experience shows that students find a deeper level of engagement and connection with UWRF when living in the residence halls. The sense of community and belonging that living on campus brings is second to none. And research shows that students who live on campus their first two years have better grades than those who live off-campus and are more likely to to continue at UWRF. Living on campus provides you with more than a place to stay, it gives you the opportunity to get the most out of your education.
- Affordable! UWRF has some of the most affordable housing rates in both the UW System and the Twin Cities area! With no surprise costs and amenities like free laundry in the halls, living on campus is a cost effective choice. Avoid the headaches of subleasing, surprise bills, utilities and more when you live in one of our 11 residence halls.
- Safe! Your safety is our priority! Residence hall doors are locked 24/7 with the exception of designated move-in and move-out times. Resident Assistants monitor student safety and residence life staff and University Police are available around the clock to respond to emergencies.
