Adventure On!

Falcon Outdoor Adventures (FOA) is your connection to the outdoors at UWRF. Located in the Falcon Center, FOA strives to build community and enhance the university experience through challenge and the pursuit of adventure. We accomplish this by providing four distinct program areas for students, faculty/staff, and the greater St. Croix Valley Region.

Reserve the Wall

Looking for your next group outing or birthday party venue? The climbing wall is a great option for hosting a variety of events. Reserving the wall for private use includes professional instructors, exclusive access to the space and all necessary equipment and training. Schools, churches, companies and community organizations all utilize the climbing wall as a reservable space - consider renting it for your private group or birthday party!

Learn to Climb

Learn to Climb is an introductory youth climbing program designed to empower kids in 1st-5th grade to discover the sport of climbing with experienced, certified instructors. Learn to Climb is open to all skill levels and experience. Classes take place at the Falcon Outdoor Adventures Climbing Wall inside the UWRF Falcon Center. Learn more and register here

Outdoor Ethics

FOA is committed to helping everyone get outside without harming the environment we play in. The St. Croix Valley is a beautiful place, and we take outdoor recreation ethics seriously to keep it that way. We adhere to and promote Leave No Trace ethics on all our trips and encourage and educate our renters to do the same. If you’re interested in learning more about how we recreate responsibly, contact us or stop by our shop!
