Campus Recreation offers a variety of events and tournaments throughout the academic year so there's always something fun to look forward to! From free bowling nights and bags tournaments to the Falcon Indoor Triathlon and a variety of Esports tournaments, events happen all year long - come join the fun!

Spring 2023 Events and Tournaments

OVERVIEW:  Battle it out in a game-night style tournament. Shuffleboard, pool, foosball, board games and more. Enter for your chance to win a FREE intramural T-Shirt. Open to all UWRF students.

TIME:  6:00-8:00 p.m.

EVENT REGISTRATION:  None

LOCATION:  Pete's Creek in the University Center

FEE:  FREE!

OVERVIEW:  Join Campus Rec for a night of fun and competitive gaming while playing with your friends. The Esports Arena is hosting a Madden Tournament on the PS5. The tournament will be double elimination and the winner will receive the Spring 2023 IM Championship T-Shirt.

TIME:  Lab opens at 5:00 p.m., play begins at 6:00 p.m.

REGISTRATION:  IMLeagues

LOCATION:  Esports Arena (Davee Library 101)

FEE:  FREE

OVERVIEW: Participants will compete in a shootout, a consecutive shot contest and a skills challenge. Divisions will be setup for men and women. Championship t-shirts will be awarded to the top overall participant in each of the three activities. 

TIME: 4:00-8:00 p.m.; participants can show up at any time during the event

REGISTRATION: IMLeagues 

LOCATION: Hunt Arena

FEE: FREE

OVERVIEW: This event will consist of either a 9-hole or 18-hole score with prizes awarded to top finishers. Scores must be reported by 4:00 p.m. to the staff by the first hole.

TIME: 12:00-4:00 p.m.

REGISTRATION: IMLeagues or in-person

LOCATION: Hoffman Park in River Falls

FEE: FREE

OVERVIEW: Head out to St. Croix Lanes for a FREE night of bowling. Special lights, video boards, in-game activities and more. Reserve your lane by calling St. Croix Lanes directly.

TIME: 10:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

EVENT REGISTRATION: Lanes are first come, first served.

Bowling

College ID Nights
UWRF Campus Recreation has partnered with St. Croix Lanes to offer discounted bowling nights every Wednesday from 10:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m. from September through May. Participants must present their UWRF ID at the time of check-in to receive the discount. Lanes can be reserved through St. Croix Lanes. Discount includes unlimited bowling and shoes.

Special Event Nights
Four times per year, UWRF Campus Recreation sponsors a FREE Bowling Night for all UWRF students. Games and shoes are provided at no cost to any student who presents a UWRF ID. Door prizes, special games and awards are presented during the cosmic bowling night. Lanes are first come, first serve.


 


Open Swim College ID Discount

UWRF Campus Recreation has partnered with the School District of River Falls and Community Education to offer a discounted rate for lap swimming at the River Falls High School pool. Dates run from September through May. Participants must present their UWRF ID at the time of check-in to receive the discount.
