Show Off Your Work!

There are many opportunities for undergraduates to present their research, scholarly and creative work including on-campus, statewide and nationally. There are several ways to present your creative and scholarly work. Each conference or meeting will have their own guidelines that should be followed for each type of presentation: poster display, oral presentation or creative display. Explore the "Templates" section of this page for more information.



UWRF and Universities of Wisconsin Conferences

URSCA Fall Gala

Celebrate and present research achievements at the UC Ballroom at UWRF. 

  • Date and Time: Dec. 1, 2026, 4-6:30 p.m.
  • Location: UC Ballroom, UWRF
  • Open to UWRF and Chippewa Valley Technical College undergraduates of all disciplines.

Research in the Rotunda

Present undergraduate research to policymakers in the Capitol Rotunda in Madison.

WiSys Quick Pitch

Present research ideas in a concise format to showcase innovation at UWRF.

Universities of Wisconsin Symposium

Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium

Presenting Your URSCA Work: Templates

There are several ways to present your creative and scholarly work. Each conference or meeting will have their own guidelines that should be followed for each type of presentation: poster display, oral presentation or creative display.  

Creating Your Presentation

PowerPoint is the recommended program to use to create a poster or other visual presentation when printing through the on campus Fast Copy. Remember that all visual presentations (especially posters) must be branded by including a UWRF logo. The templates and instructions listed below are available for your use.

Printing

Printing of your poster or other printable artifacts is available on campus, visit Fast Copy

If you are registered to present at and the an URSCA sponsored event (Fall Gala, Research in the Rotunda, NCUR, UW Symposium), URSCA covers the cost of printing the poster. Please use the URSCA recommended template to create your poster and send your poster print file to ursca@uwrf.edu. We will get it printed at Fast Copy and collect it when it is done. If it is for the Fall Gala, we will also bring it to the Gala and hang it for the event. Please allow a few weeks to print your poster for the URSCA Fall Gala, as they receive a high volume of poster orders at this time.
