I would like to conduct an URSCA project, how can I receive funding?

Can I get an URSCA grant to complete a music, art or other creative project?
Absolutely! We have funded some wonderful creative projects, for example, new geoglazing techniques, innovative painting, oral histories and audio portraits of musicians. Undergraduates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply!
My research involves human subjects, e.g. using surveys for data collection, should I be aware of anything?
We advise you to review the policies and procedures established by the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects (IRB). Proper procedures must be followed and will likely require a research protocol approved by IRB.
My research involves animal subjects, should I be aware of anything?
We advise you to review the policies and procedures established by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Proper procedures must be followed and will likely require a research protocol approved by IACUC.
How do I receive the funding from my awarded grant?

Can I get assistance creating my research poster for a presentation?
Yes! We hold workshops throughout the year to support UWRF undergraduate researchers and their faculty mentors to introduce methods and concepts of URSCA components.
