How to make the most of your advising appointment as a School of Business and Economics student:

  • Review your Degree Audit Report.
  • Schedule your appointment at least one week in advance.
  • Prepare a selection of courses you may be interested in.

Hello Falcons!

My name is Jessica Kielcheski and I serve as the academic adviser for the School of Business and Education. My goal as your adviser is to support you as you navigate your educational path and assist you in making the most of your UWRF experience.

About Me:
I’m a UW-Stout alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management and a minor in Business Administration. I’ve also earned a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from UW-La Crosse. After grad school, I spent five years in Denver before moving “back home” to Wisconsin. I come to UWRF after serving another five years in the Involvement Center at UW-Stout.

In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, hiking, kayaking, and listening to a good true crime podcast. I’m also a proud sorority member, wife and mother to a beautiful daughter and sweet fur-baby.

My Strengths:
Maximizer – I actively look for the potential in others and tend to focus more on strengths rather than weaknesses.
Connectedness – I live by the motto “everything happens for a reason” and I naturally see how pieces come together to form a bigger picture or idea.
Relator – I enjoy building relationships and I’m eager to understand the feelings, goals, fears and dreams of others.
Belief – My core values are the driving force behind everything I do and are deeply rooted in altruism.
Learner – I appreciate the journey of learning and improving as much as I do the destination.

I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about your interests, strengths and career goals! I’m here to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
