Tuition Bills

Explore this page for information related to your tuition bills, including how to grant others access to your bill, finance charges, financial aid application and more. You'll also find information on miscellaneous charges or fees that can be incurred, ranging from housing and dining costs to late registration fees.

Electronic billing is the official billing method used by UW-Rover Falls. Paper bills are not generated. The Billing Statement and Pending Aid tutorial is available to guide you through viewing your Billing Statement and Pending Aid on eSIS.

A student's bill is available on eSIS approximately one month prior to the start of the term. All currently enrolled students will receive an email notification to their UWRF email account when bills are available on eSIS after the first bill date for the term. A student not receiving or not accessing an email is not excused from paying their bill on the posted due date.

Students can grant access to others to view billing information and make payments.

If a student is using financial assistance to pay all or part of their bill, it is their responsibility to check their eSIS account to find the amount of pending aid and deduct that from their total balance. The Billing Statement and Pending Aid tutorial will show you where to find information on pending aid in eSIS. The balance remaining is treated the same as a student not using financial aid.

A 1.25% finance charge is assessed every month after the initial due date for the term on any balance unpaid.

Please see the Tuition and Fee Appeals for policy and procedures.

If a student has a balance of $500 or more remaining after the final due date of the term, an enrollment hold is placed on their account. This hold will prevent them from registering for future terms at UWRF until their account balance is under $500.

Other Charges

UW-River Falls will charge your eSIS account a $15 bad check fee for payments returned by the bank for non-sufficient funds, account closed or stop payments.

If you are making e-check payments and the transaction does not process due to invalid account number or unable to locate account errors, you will be charged a $15 fee by Transact Payments. Please contact the Student Billing Office at 715-425-3145 if you have questions or concerns.

A late registration fee of $25.00 is automatically assessed to your eSIS account if you register for classes after the first official start date of classes for the semester.  The late registration fee is only assessed on fall and spring terms.

A new student registration fee will be included in your first fall or spring billing statement from UWRF. This is a one-time fee that is charged whether or not you attend the registration program. The fee covers costs for orientation, registration and career services.

New Student and Transfer Student Fees:

  • New Student Fee: $230.00
  • Transfer Student Fee: $203.76
