How do I view my tuition bill?

Tuition is billed by semester. Bills will be available a month prior to the start of the term. To view your bill you can log into eSIS and click on the “Billing Statement” link on the Student Center page.

View a tutorial on accessing your Billing Statement.

I’m from Minnesota. Why was I charged non-resident fees on my bill?

If you are a Minnesota resident, be sure to apply for reciprocity for the term/academic year you plan to start as a student at UW-River Falls.  This will allow you to pay a tuition rate comparable to what is charged at a similar Minnesota school.

Your reciprocity benefits will be automatically renewed each term/year if you continue to attend UW-River Falls and can claim Minnesota residency. If you have not taken any classes in the past year, you will need to reapply.

Apply for Minnesota Reciprocity.

Where do I make my tuition payment?

To pay with cash or check you can visit the Student Billing Office, located in Rodli Hall, Room 226. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You can also mail a check to the following address:

Can I pay with a card or directly from my bank account?

Yes, you can pay online with a credit card or e-check. To pay online you need to log into your eSIS account and click “Make a Payment” on your Student Center page. Note there is a 2.95% convenience fee for domestic cards and 4.25% for international cards. There are no processing fees for an e-check.

To pay by e-check you will need to enter your checking or savings account number and the bank routing number. Be sure to enter information accurately.  If the e-check is returned, the payment will be reversed and a $15.00 service charge will be assessed by Transact Payments.

How do I apply my scholarship to my bill?

If you have an external scholarship from your high school or a community foundation, you can bring the check to the Student Billing office. You can also have the check mailed to:
