All party reservations are now requested through recreation.uwrf.edu. Bookings must be finalized a minimum of two weeks prior to desired date to ensure proper staffing from Campus Recreation student staff.
Climbing Party - $190
Climbing Wall parties with Falcon Outdoor Adventures last for two hours and include harness and shoes, staff instructions, and some party supplies.
- Hosts are welcome to bring food into the facility as long as it is store bought to comply with foodborne illness regulations.
- Rates are for eight climbers.
- Each additional climber is $10.
Open Skating - $150
Open Skating parties last 1.5 hours and include open skate admission, skate rental, private room and some party supplies.
- Hosts are welcome to bring food into the facility as long as it is store bought to comply with foodborne illness regulations.
- Rate are for eight skaters.
- Each additional skater is $8 with skate rental or $4 without skate rental.
Open Recreation - $150
Open Recreation parties last two hours and include open recreation admission, private room, tables for food and gifts and some party supplies.

- Rates are for eight participants.
- Each additional participant is $5.
Is there a minimum age? What's the typical age?
There is no minimum age. Keep in mind that parties are typically enjoyed most by kids age seven and older.
Can we bring decorations?
Feel free to bring decorations! We do provide a table cover.
What kind of food can we bring?
Any food can be brought in as long as it is store bought in accordance with foodborne illness regulations.
Do you have storage for cold food?
Yes, we have a fridge and freezer to store cold food until you are ready to eat.
Is the reservation private or dual use with others at the facility?
Climbing parties are a private reservation for your group. The wall is not open to people not in your group.
Open skate and open recreation parties are both during open recreation times so there will be other people using the facility at the same time. You will have a private party room to yourself.
For the climbing party, are climbers able to climb for the entire two hours? How are the two hours broken up?
The party will begin with an overview of some safety rules and how to put on a harness. From there, you can spend the rest of the two hours however you wish. Parties typically begin with climbing, break for food and gifts after an hour and use the remaining time to climb again.

Due to a high demand for private reservations and limited staff, only certain times are available for reservations. To see available reservation times, click here.
How and when do I pay for my party?
Payment is made online when registering for a party. Additional climber costs can be paid during or after your party time onsite. We accept cash, check or credit/debit cards.
What is included in the price?
An exclusive reservation of the space, table and chairs, flatware, cups and utensils.
- For climbing parties, two professional climbing instructors and all necessary climbing equipment is provided.
- For skating parties, rental skates are provided. Sizes range from youth 13 to adult 14 in both figure and hockey skates.
- For open recreation parties, some basketballs, volleyballs and soccer balls are available for checkout at the desk.
What is your cancellation policy?
In general, we can work around rescheduled parties as we understand conflicts and illnesses arise. However, cancellations made within 48 hours of the party time may incur a fee. Please contact us as soon as you know you need to adjust your party and we can make changes.
