Textbook Services
Welcome to Textbook Services! Our mission is to provide primary and secondary textbooks and learning resources to UWRF students in direct support of the curriculum. Our service is primarily for undergraduates. Have questions or need assistance? Email textbookservices@uwrf.edu.
Fall textbook pick up
Textbook pick up begins on Monday, Aug. 24, and runs through Thursday, Sept. 3. You must schedule an appointment to pick up your textbooks, unless you are a new incoming student. New students will pick up their textbooks during Orientation on Sunday, Aug. 30, and Monday, Aug. 31. Appointments can be scheduled up to three weeks in advance and no later than three hours before your preferred time slot.
Access your fall 2026 textbook list to review your assigned textbooks. A university- or government-issued picture ID is required to check out books. Please be sure to bring a backpack, bookbag or box to carry your textbooks once they have been properly checked out. Textbook Services does not provide bags.
If you are unable to pick up your textbooks in-person, you can request textbooks to be shipped to your home address by selecting the Request Books to be Mailed button below. The mailing fee is $20.

About Us
Textbook Services Due Dates and Late Fines
Textbook due dates are typically the day after the last day of finals. For summer and winter/J- terms, the due date is the first day of classes of the following term (e.g., fall term for summer books.) If a student requires the book past the due date (e.g., took an incomplete, need to finish a paper), their instructor or adviser must email Textbook Services to request this.
- Students will receive an email from circulation@uwrf.edu after textbooks are checked out, when textbooks are checked in, when they are due, after they are overdue and monthly email reminders on the 2nd of every month.
- Late fines are $1/day per book to a maximum of $10 per book.
- At 28 days overdue, books will be set to LOST and an additional $10 long overdue fine will be applied.
- After 60 days overdue, student account may be sent to Student Billing for collection.
- Lost or severely damaged books will have to be paid for at replacement value in Alma.
