Student Support Services (SSS) at UWRF provides academic support, mentorship and resources to help eligible students succeed in college. Our program is designed for first-generation students, income-eligible students and those with disabilities who need extra guidance on their academic journey. Eligibility
You may be eligible for the program if you meet any of the following criteria:
- A first-generation college student: Any student whose parent/guardian did not receive a bachelor's degree.
- An income-eligible student: A student whose family meets federal income eligibility guidelines. Many SSS students are eligible for the PELL grant. Students are encouraged to apply even if they believe their family doesn't qualify.
- A student with a learning or physical challenge (also referred to as a disability): You are considered a student with a disability if you have verified documentation on file with the Disability Resource Center. Acceptance into the program is contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria and space availability.
