Student Support Services (SSS) at UWRF provides academic support, mentorship and resources to help eligible students succeed in college. Our program is designed for first-generation students, income-eligible students and those with disabilities who need extra guidance on their academic journey. 2025-2026 SSS Application

The priority deadline is July 1, 2025.

Note: We recommend using a laptop or desktop for the online application. The application will time out after 25 minutes. 


 
Eligibility

You may be eligible for the program if you meet any of the following criteria:

  • A first-generation college student: Any student whose parent/guardian did not receive a bachelor's degree.
  • An income-eligible student: A student whose family meets federal income eligibility guidelines. Many SSS students are eligible for the PELL grant. Students are encouraged to apply even if they believe their family doesn't qualify.
  • A student with a learning or physical challenge (also referred to as a disability): You are considered a student with a disability if you have verified documentation on file with the Disability Resource Center. Acceptance into the program is contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria and space availability.

Summer Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m.-noon
