Exploratory Advising Program

Unsure of your options? Not sure what you may want to do with your career? Let us help!

The Exploratory Advising Program helps students who are undecided or exploring their academic options find the right path. Our advisers provide personalized guidance to help you identify your strengths, interests and career goals while navigating course selection and degree planning.

For help identifying majors of interest, we recommend completing the Major Exploration Activity.

For a complete list of major and career exploration resources, please visit the Career Services and Exploratory Advising webpage.

Exploratory students have not yet selected a major at UWRF. As an exploratory student, you'll be assigned an adviser who'll help you select your classes, explore majors and careers, consider the experiences you want to have both inside and outside the classroom at UWRF and assist you with the transition to college.

We are here to help you as well! The resources offered by the Exploratory Advising Program and Career Services are available to ALL Falcons!

Contact your adviser or Courtney Brommer.

  • To declare or learn more about a major: Contact the department chair for the major you wish to declare.
  • To declare a minor:  Visit the Contact the Registrar’s Office or the department of the minor you wish to declare.

This interactive experience is designed to help you find a career path based on exciting, real-world challenges that go beyond job titles. After completing the activity, you will receive a customized Challenge Profile with a career exploration action plan.
