Dance Theatre

The Annual Dance Theatre Concert is a unique blend of choreographic styles ranging from traditional ethnic dance forms, interactive technology and contemporary modern created by faculty, students and professional guest choreographers.

Focus On U

Focus Productions, better known as Focus On U, is the campus television show that is managed entirely by a student production crew with a faculty adviser. Our goal is to provide a professional production environment by giving students the opportunity to work on our campus variety/talk show, Focus On U. Focus On U is open to all students interested in getting involved in any aspect of video production and meeting other creative people.


 
Masquers

Founded in 1928,Masquers is UWRF's student theatre organization. They put on a fully student-run show every year. This show allows students to get involved in the performance and technical aspects of theatre. Masquers also attends KCACTF Region 3. This is a conference that allows students to attend workshops that will further their education in theatre. They are also able to participate in a variety of competitions at this conference and possibly receive awards or scholarships.


  
Falcon Web Series

Falcon Web Series (SASA 460) is a class centered on writing, producing and exhibiting a web series. Students focus on their area of interest as part of a collaborative production. Those areas of focus include writing, directing, cinematography, acting, production design, editing and special effects. Students also participate in various projects to help market and distribute the series along with chronicling the production process. The outcome of the course is in the students’ hands with the kind of series and working experience they create in pursuit of their final product.
