Scholarship Opportunities

ROTC Scholarship

ROTC Scholarships are for students who do not want to be in the Army National Guard or Reserves while attending school. ROTC Scholarship winners have more free time than other options, so it is great for students pursuing sports and internships.

Benefits

  • Full Tuition OR $6,000 per semester
  • $420/month stipend and $600/semester textbook stipend

Service Obligation (One of the following)

  • Active Duty 4 Year - Reserves 4 Years
  • National Guard/ Reserves 8 Years


Non-Scholarship Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP)

SMP Scholarships are for those who are already in the National Guard or Reserves, or will join before/ during college. While this scholarship does give full tuition payments, membership in the Guard or Reserves qualifies the student for benefits.

Benefits

  • Federal/ State Tuition Grant for Federal Tuition Assistance
  • $481/month stipend
  • ~$300/month drill pay
  • $397/month GI Bill and $350 Kicker (If AIT Complete)

Service Obligation (One of the following)

  • 3 Years Active Duty - 5 Years Reserve
  • 3 Years National Guard/ Reserve - 5 Years Reserve


Guaranteed Reserve Force Duty Scholarship (GRFD)

GRFD Scholarships are for students who are serving in the National Guard or Reserves and want to continue their service in the Guard or Reserves as a commissioned officer after they graduate and commission

Benefits

  • Federal/ State Tuition Reimbursement and $5000/semester
  • $420/month and $600/semester
  • ~$300/month drill pay
  • $397/month GI Bill and $350/month kicker (If AIT Complete)

Service Obligation

  • 8 Years National Guard/ Reserves
