Student Opportunities
Communication and media studies students don't just learn in the classroom—they create, lead and collaborate in real-world settings. Our department offers a wide range of dynamic student opportunities that bridge theory with practice, helping students build meaningful portfolios and gain confidence in their professional voice. Whether it’s hosting live radio shows on WRFW-FM, reporting for the award-winning Student Voice, producing multimedia content or leading communications for campus organizations, our students are immersed in hands-on experiences from day one. These opportunities foster creativity, sharpen communication skills and prepare graduates to make an immediate impact in media, marketing, journalism, public relations and beyond.
