Advising Assignments
Candidates in the Educator Preparation Program are assigned an adviser to help support them throughout the program. Candidates are expected to meet with their adviser a minimum of once a semester while participating in the program.
Elementary education majors will be assigned to their college adviser. Once a candidate is admitted to the Educator Preparation Program they will be assigned a faculty adviser in the Teacher Education Department.
Early Childhood majors will be assigned to the program director for advising services.
Students will be co-advised by a content areas faculty member and the college's senior adviser. If you have questions regarding the educator preparation program please contact Tyler Koepke at 715-425-3708.
Students enrolled in teacher certification programs as a Post Bachelor Non-Degree Seeking special student will be assigned a faculty member in the content department of their program. The college's coordinator of student services and senior adviser are also available to help support you.
Graduate students are assigned a faculty member in their content area as their adviser. Students are not required to meet with their adviser every semester but it is strongly encouraged. The college's coordinator of student services is also a valuable resource that students can meet with in addition to their assigned faculty adviser.
