The Psychological Sciences Department offers many ways for you to get involved! You can join research projects, present at conferences and participate in Psi Chi and the Psychology Club. The Peer Mentoring Program also connects new students with upperclassmen and faculty for support and guidance. These activities help you gain experience and build connections for your future career!

Psychological Sciences Student Club
Psychological Sciences Club is a student organization for all psychology and neurosciences majors, minors and those interested in the field. Our mission is to be an educational and community building organization for those on campus interested in psychological sciences. Joining the Psychological Sciences Club offers you the exciting opportunity to get acquainted with others who have similar interests, the possibility to learn more about the field and career options available to majors and minors in the department, how to choose and get accepted into a graduate program and other endless possibilities to explore how psychological science is prevalent in our community and beyond. We have various activities throughout the year that help to advance our education beyond the classroom.
Psi Chi
Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose is to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.
Psi Chi Honor Society Requirements
- Psychology major or minor
- Completed at least nine credits of psychology courses at UWRF
- An overall GPA of 3.3 or higher
- A psychology GPA of 3.0 or higher
