Faculty Resources
The Experience Scotland program maintains a commitment to providing unique international opportunities to not only students at our various partner campuses, but also faculty. Over 300 faculty have taught in the program throughout our history. Faculty play an instrumental role in the Experience Scotland international community at Newbattle Abbey and many faculty have reported that the teaching experience in Scotland has been just as life-changing for them as it is for the students they teach!

Group Leaders must be willing to deal with many varied issues that arise as a result of both the academic demands of study abroad and those that accompany living with student groups.
The Group Leader role is a semester-length appointment. In addition to providing ongoing leadership to the student and faculty experience in Scotland, the Group Leader will teach two courses. Please indicate your interest in the Group Leader role through the standard faculty application process outlined above. In addition to completing all requirements of the faculty application, please also submit a cover letter outlining your interest in and qualifications for the role.
