Freddy's Pantry
One of the hallmarks of UWRF is that we are a caring, supportive, student-centered community. In order to support this mission, we have created Freddy’s Pantry, a pair of food shelves on campus to assist students who have food and/or daily living insecurities.
Freddy’s Pantry West
- Located on the second floor of the Agricultural Sciences building next to room 231.
- Stocks non-perishable offerings and some personal care items.
- Accessible any time the building is open.
- This shelf is overseen by Susan Bargellini in Animal and Food Science. Contact Susan at susan.bargellini@uwrf.edu.
Freddy's Pantry East
- Located in 268 Rodli Hall.
- Stocks perishable and non-perishable items as well as personal care items.
- Open to people affiliated with the university (i.e. has a "W" number).
Current Hours of Operation for Freddy's Pantry East
- Monday: 2-5 p.m.
- Tuesday: 2-5 p.m.
- Wednesday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Thursday: 2-5 p.m.
- Friday: Closed
Both pantries are supported by the River Falls Food Pantry. Freddy's is staffed by student volunteers from the Honors and social work programs. Freddy's Pantry is overseen by Lee Spindler. If you cannot make it to open hours and would like to request a visit outside of our hours, please email lee.spindler@uwrf.edu If you are interested in supporting the pantry, monetary donations are preferred so we can procure what our students need or request. There is also an Amazon wish list where you can purchase needed food and supplies.
