Our program practices a play-based curriculum with an emphasis on nature and social emotional development. A planned, prepared environment is the structure for the learning experience that is available to the children. A balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities is provided to characterize the learning-through-play philosophy.

The CHILD Center is a component of UWRF's College of Business, Education and Allied Health. The CHILD Center is licensed by the State of Wisconsin and serves children six weeks through 10 years of age.

This position provides opportunities to support a positive and supportive environment for all children with a focus on social and emotional development through a play based environment.
