In this interactive session, Cyndi Kernahan and Rhonda Petree will share information about how you can improve your teaching and help students succeed while meeting and networking with other like-minded people. We will cover both on-campus (e.g., Teaching for Student Success, the Discussion Project) and off-campus (e.g., Wisconsin Teaching Fellows and Scholars, Faculty College, Spring Conference on Teaching and Learning) opportunities. Part demonstration and part panel discussion, participants should walk away with a few specific teaching strategies that have been shown to improve student persistence while also learning how to take advantage of some truly impactful development opportunities.
