Youth Horse Judging Clinic
The annual horse judging clinic is live and in-person for 2025! The clinic is intended for participants of all experiences interested in learning how to evaluate horse balance, conformation, in-hand classes, as well as performance classes. Interested individuals may include students from 4-H, FFA youth members, horse owners or agricultural education coaches, as well as anyone wanting to prepare or improve their horse judging skills. Participants of all judging abilities and levels are welcome!
The clinic will run from 9am to 3pm on Sunday, March 23, and includes lunch, snacks, and a judging manual for participants. Information that will be covered includes:
- Learning the basics of judging both halter and performance classes
- Hands-on practice evaluating live horses in halter, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, and trail
The clinic registration fees:
- $75 for participants; cost includes lunch, snacks, a judging manual, and participation in all activities.
- $25 for all auditors; cost includes lunch, snacks and listening to all activities (no judging manual provided).
