Mandatory Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention Training
All newly enrolled students are assigned a mandatory Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention training program during their first fall or spring semester, whichever comes first. This program contains critical information for new university students and covers issues like consent, prevention and how to report sexual misconduct. The training is accessible via your Canvas account and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Students who attended UWRF as an undergraduate and subsequently enroll in a graduate program at UWRF are assigned the mandatory Refresher Course.
Students who do not complete the training prior to enrollment for the following semester will have a hold placed on their eSIS account until the training is complete. Please note that holds do not automatically come off once you complete your training. You will need to email the Title IX office to request the hold removal. Removal requests are taken in the order they are received and are typically removed within one business day.
If you are unable to access your assigned course, or if you have any concerns about the course content, please email titleix@uwrf.edu.
