Transfer Student Information

Already a UWRF student? If you're an internal transfer student seeking to change your major to HHP, you must contact Department Chair Paul Shirilla at paul.shirilla@uwrf.edu

Transferring to UWRF from another institution? External transfer students need to apply for admission to UWRF first. Admission to UWRF doesn't guarantee admission into HHP - our department will review completed files.

Transfer acceptance, both internal and external, will be based upon a candidate's GPA, number of credits, specific classes already completed enrollment patterns, graduation rates and other factors affecting the number of HHP majors.

Minimum GPA requirements for admission include a 3.0 for Health and Physical Education Teacher Education (HPETE) and a 2.5 for Exercise and Sport Science (EXSS). Meeting minimum requirements doesn't guarantee acceptance into HHP as other factors are taken into consideration. Preference is given to students with higher GPAs and fewer than 50 credits.
