You may choose the platform of your choice (MAC or PC), although instruction will be given using a MAC. When choosing a laptop, ensure that it meets the Minimum Requirements for Adobe After Effects. This will ensure that required applications run smoothly. System requirements for Adobe software can be found on the Adobe website.

Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription Discount
UWRF is providing the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to students at a significant student group discount and Student Billing will add the subscription fee to your billing account. Verify course or program requirements with your instructor before purchase. Check the Creative Cloud system requirements directly on Adobe's website for compatibility with your computer. All sales are final, which means that once purchased, a student cannot receive a refund, even if they drop the course they were going to use the subscription for.

Once the form has been submitted, instructions with a license code will be emailed to your UWRF email address within 24 hours. Follow the directions to activate the license. Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions can also be purchased online directly from Adobe. Make sure to select the student plan to access the student discount and sign up with your UWRF email address but keep in mind that this plan is more expensive than if purchased through UWRF.
Transferring Adobe Creative Cloud Files to a Personal Account After Graduation
The Knowledge Base article "Adobe Creative Cloud: Transfer Files to UWRF or Personal Account" covers transferring files from a UWRF Adobe account to a personal Adobe account (and vice-versa). This will likely come in handy post-graduation to move a student's portfolio to a personal Adobe account before their Falcon account is deactivated (one year from graduation).
