Details: In this course participants will prepare to teach art at the middle/secondary level including: history of art education, aesthetic development of the adolescent, state and national art standards, art curriculum and assessment development, approaches to 6-12 art media instruction, creative process and management in the classroom. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education or EPP Admission Tier II.
