Details: This course is designed to teach students how to write effective lesson plans for hands-on, minds-on, hearts-on science activities. A constructivist approach, one that stresses the relationships between objects and events, concepts and principles will be followed. Students learn how to construct lesson plans in a way that corresponds to the way scientists construct knowledge. There will be ample opportunities to present these lessons to elementary students and to evaluate results. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education. Materials fee required.(F,Sp)
