Details: This course introduces a critical element of Montessori teaching -- observation. Participants will practice naturalistic observations of children in Montessori settings as well as observing children exploring a specific subject area, observing children in an outdoor environment, and observing an entire Montessori classroom. Students will apply developmental theory and Montessori philosophy to the interpretations of observations.
