Montessori 710 Practical Life and Preparation of the Environment
Details: In this course, the participants will learn to set up a Montessori classroom environment to support the child's learning, and development of coordination, concentration, autonomy and a sense of order. Participants will also focus on the philosophy and methods that support the practical life curriculum. In focusing on practical life, the participant will learn to provide exercises in four major categories that help a child live comfortably in the world: Care of the Self, Care of the Environment, Grace and Courtesy and Control of Movement. Pre-requisite MONT 500 or permission of instructor
