Details: This course focuses on developing the skills of imagination and technical [not aesthetic] creativity - the ability to conceive new organizational technologies, processes, ideas, and entrepreneurial opportunities. In the course, students will explore the relationship between imagination, creativity, and organization innovation. Using interactive and engaging learning experiences students will: explore blocks to imagination and creative thinking; master techniques to strengthen their ability to generate novel ideas from patterns of interaction, experiences, situations, and unusual challenges; use methods to sell /motivate others to support their creative ideas; and understand how organizational rules, processes, and systems can hinder creativity and innovation.
