Details: This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the strategic elements of social media marketing, such as social content marketing, social media governance, and accurate return-on-investment tracking and iteration. The course will prepare students for a career in social media marketing by examining emerging tools and technology for social media management and discussing industry trends, helping students develop their critical and creative thinking skills to become successful social media marketers. Students will gain hands-on experience creating and managing social media marketing content for a real or fictitious client. Prerequisites: MARC 230 or permission of the instructor. (As offered)
