| Details: This course teaches students how to research, evaluate, and build relationships with influencers and integrate them into a marketing campaign. Advertisers are leveraging influencers who can persuade their audience to partake in a specific action; however, investing in influencer marketing is more than merely selecting an individual on social media with a large following. Agencies and brands need to create an effective, well-planned strategy or otherwise risk losing money, damaging their reputation, or violating federal regulations. Students will learn not only how to work with influencers, but also how to build influence for themselves or others.
Prerequisites: MARC 200, MKTG 310 or permission of the instructor. (As offered) |
