| Details: This course introduces students to the cultural and language factors that affect the performance of students who are non-native speakers of English with focus on specific language and cultural groups in the Midwest, particularly Wisconsin and Minnesota. The course also provides a survey of the types of bilingual programs currently in practice and introduces the students to cultural and language resources available in text format and on the internet.
