Details: This course addresses visual and conceptual communication strategies and solutions, utilizing drawing techniques as they pertain to the commercial illustration, design, and fine arts industries. Students will be asked to experiment with a wide variety of media and techniques through concept-driven projects. Emphasis will be placed on creating illustrations with an intended purpose or concept through disciplined draftsmanship in the visual communication of ideas. Additionally, the course examines historical and applied usage of illustrations for publication.
