Details: This hybrid lecture/studio course will provide students with an understanding of the creative process within the visual arts and the therapeutic functions of art. The aim of this course is to familiarize students, regardless of their art practices or chosen major, with the theoretical underpinnings and basic elements of the profession and practice of art therapy, the creative process, the psychological and physical impact of art making.
