Details: This course provides students with an introductory level of basic knowledge and skills in the realm of painting. The content covers various materials, tools, techniques, and approaches in painting including, but not limited to, oil painting, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. While creating paintings, students will learn to apply design principles and color theory to visually communicate ideas. The course also addresses historical and contemporary approaches to painting including, but not limited to, the following: technical, analytical, expressive, and conceptual. Course fee required.
