Chromosomal and nucleic acid structure will be examined, as will the processes of DNA replication, transcription, and translation. Population genetics will be explored. Additional topics will include hybrid vigor, calculation of coefficient of relationship, and application of genomics and reproductive technologies to improve selection and mating.
