Details: This course addresses the design of stormwater and conservation practices in the agricultural and agricultural/urban environment. Common hydrologic modeling tools used in industry will be used to evaluate peak runoff rates, runoff volumes, and open channel flow. Methods to attenuate peak flow rates and accommodate volume reduction requirements will be addressed and compared with traditional stormwater management methods. Open channel protection and restoration design procedures are introduced. Prerequisites: ENVN 330. |
