Details: This course requires students to analyze air transport phenomena (dispersion, diffusion, etc.) and mechanisms for chemical analysis and treatment via gas, solid and liquid processes. Solid waste management will focus on treatment of agricultural, industrial and municipal solid wastes: characteristics, planning and engineering of solid waste management systems, considering regulations, off-gas treatment, energy and material recovery and basic landfill designs.
