Details: In this course the ecology, physiology, and biochemistry of soil microorganisms will be studied. In addition, the role of soil microorganisms in nutrient cycling, pesticides degradation, composting, waste disposal, and plant-microbe interactions will be discussed. Prerequisites: SOIL 120 or instructors consent (BIOL 150 or BIOL 160 is highly recommended)
