Details: This course prepares teacher candidates to critically select, evaluate, and present genres of children's and adolescent literature with consideration for the developmental needs of students in grades K-9. An emphasis is placed on participants becoming familiar with a variety of texts (historically significant and new releases) and exploring ways to help K-9 students engage with a variety of texts.
